There is increasing evidence that exposure to PFAS (Per-and Polyfluoroalkyl) can adversely affect human health.  Per-and Polyfluoroalky substances do not break down, accumulating over time.  PFAS are widely used in materials such as PTFE.  Due to Government regulations that mandate traces of PFAS are below legal limits, laboratories require labware products that do no contain PTFE to minimize background contamination.  Finneran has a complete product line of convenience kits suitable for PFAS Testing.  The new Polyimide/silicone closure is the perfect alternative.  Our offerings include 1mm thick polyimide/silicone closures and polypropylene vials in 9mm thread finishes.
