BEING BIO Series, Air-jacketed CO2 Incubator
Manufacturer: Being Instrument Inc.
The BEING BIO Series air-jacketed CO2 incubators provide a stable, controllable, reliable, and optimized environment for various cell culture applications like fermentation, stem cell research, autologous tissue regeneration, low volume media micro-plate work, in vitro fertilization research, growth studies, and general research.
The color, intuitive, easy-to-use touchscreen controller displays all the incubator’s parameters on a single screen. The capacitive display ensures touch sensitivity and precision even when wearing gloves.
Upon parameter setting, the controller locks the screen automatically to avoid unauthorized operation by another user. The controller’s display can show temperature, humidity, and CO2 concentration performance curves along with abnormal alarm and door open or close messages. The standard RS-485 communication port provides remote operational control and data logging for a 72-hour review of ongoing performance while making the user aware of any abnormal situations.
The BEING BIO Series air-jacketed CO2 incubators include:
an infrared (IR) sensor that monitors CO2 levels independently of temperature and humidity provides for fast recovery (≤8 minutes) to set values upon door opening and closing and ensures superior pH stability,
a class 100 HEPA filter that eliminates particles ≥0.3μm at 99.998%,
a 304 stainless steel chamber liner with large radius corners for easy cleaning and maintenance while providing optimal air circulation,
anti-skid, anti-spill, toolless, easy-to-install and dismantle, 304 stainless steel shelves that lock when pulled out halfway to minimize experiment loss and accidents and protects the operator,
a 1-liter 304 stainless steel water pan for creating humidity up to 95%,
a nickel-plated copper quick-disconnect CO2 inlet,
a six-sided, direct heating design provides the best performance of temperature uniformity (±0.3oC), and the heated door and door frame prevent the forming of condensation on the inner glass observation door,
a simple pushbutton sterilization system using 90oC moist heat disinfects all interior chamber components minimizing any chances of contamination of cell culture samples from various microbes, and
a variety of safety features including audible and visual alarms for low, high, and over-temperature protection, CO2 condensation too-low or too-high, door open too long, sensor failure, power off, to name a few.
The BIO-150RHF and BIO-190RHF models to save space are stackable without needing to buy an additional stacking kit. Indentations stamped into each unit’s sheet metal provide easy alignment of another incubator and ensure the top incubator doesn’t move. The feet are height-adjustable to level the units, front to back and side to side.
The incubators are designed, manufactured, and tested to the DIN 12880-2007 standard. The BIO Series air-jacketed CO2 incubators are available in 4 sizes from 80 L to 233 L with a temperature range from Ambient + 5C to 50C and a 3-year warranty.
