Traceable® Infrared Digital Thermometer
Manufacturer: Control Company (Traceable)
Non-contact digital thermometer allows simply pointing the sensor and reading a temperature. Probe never comes in contact with surface or solution. Cable permits exact positioning of the sensor. Jumbo, 1-3/8-inch-high display may be switched from 14.0 to 572°F and ‚Äì10.0 to 300°C. Switchable resolution is 0.1° or 1°. Accuracy is ¬±2°C or 2% of the reading. Computer output allows the thermometer to be connected to a computer or data logger for monitoring and storing results. The field of view is 7:1 (example: at a distance of 21 inches the reading spot size is 3 inches). Probe has an emissivity adjustment with a range of 0.1 to 0.95 in steps of 0.1. This allows all types of material and liquid to be read. Sensor wavelength is 6 to 12 microns. Ultra-fast sampling rate is once per second. At the touch of a button, instrument recalls highest, lowest, and average readings. DATA HOLD button freezes display to capture readings. To assure accuracy an individually serial-numbered Traceable® Certificate is provided from the manufacturer's ISO 17025 calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA. It indicates traceability to standards provided by NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology). Unit is supplied with probe (6 x 1-1/2 x 1-1/2 inches), 40-inch cable, Traceable® Certificate, 9-volt alkaline battery, and serial computer output. Unit size is 7 x 3 x 1-1/2 inches and weight is 9-1/2 ounces. Replacement battery Cat. No. CON1112.
