Since joining Thermal Scientific in 2016, Kerry La Voie has held numerous vital roles in the company before being named Finance Director in early 2022.
From Account Receivable Analyst to Outside Sales to Accounting & Payroll Manager, Kerry’s well-rounded experience, eye for uncovering process efficiencies and dedication to the Thermal mission makes her the ideal person to lead and grow the accounting department.

Although originally from New Jersey, Kerry grew up in California, Hawaii and Virginia. As the daughter of a US service member, frequent moves were a way of life. Kerry learned early on how to make friends and nurture relationships, as those who know her have said “Kerry has never met a stranger!”
Kerry graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Clothing & Textile Science. Upon graduation, she worked in marketing for a large commercial property management company. Kerry then moved to a customer relations management role for a large electric service provider, where she cross-trained in accounting and new employee training.
Her military way of life continued as an adult, marrying her best friend Steve and traveling the world as a military wife. They have four adult children: a naval aviator, a chemist, a registered nurse, and a full-time college student.
When not helping keep Thermal’s finances in order, Kerry enjoys cooking, entertaining and traveling. She’s also an avid volunteer who is constantly working to make a difference in the lives of those around her.
